President, Organizing Committee
The 81st Korean Congress of Radiology
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great honor and pleasure to extend a warm invitation to the 81st Korean Congress of Radiology (KCR 2025), taking place from September 24 to 27, 2025, at Coex, in the vibrant city of Seoul, Korea.
This year holds special significance as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Korean Society of Radiology (KSR). Over the past eight decades, KSR has remained steadfast in its mission to advance radiology and promote international collaboration. Reflecting this enduring commitment, we have chosen "Unwavering Endeavors" as the theme for KCR 2025—a testament to our collective determination to address the challenges facing our field today.
Radiology worldwide is confronting significant hurdles, including workforce shortages and the escalation of unnecessary imaging, which places immense strain on healthcare systems. However, it is through unwavering endeavors that we strive to overcome these obstacles, advance innovation, and uphold the highest standards of patient care. KCR 2025 will serve as a platform for sharing strategies, insights, and solutions to navigate these complex challenges together.
The congress will feature an exceptional scientific program, showcasing cutting-edge research, innovative technologies, and thought-provoking discussions led by renowned experts. We are privileged to welcome Dr. Curtis P. Langlotz (USA) as our Congress Lecturer, alongside distinguished plenary speakers including Dr. Perry Pickhardt (USA), Dr. Mathias Prokop (Netherlands), and Dr. Yeon Hyeon Choe (Korea).
Beyond the academic and scientific sessions, KCR 2025 will offer unparalleled opportunities to network, exchange knowledge, and build lasting partnerships. Participants will also have the chance to experience the rich cultural heritage and dynamic energy of Seoul, where tradition and innovation blend seamlessly.
As we commemorate the achievements of the past 80 years, let us also look ahead to the future of radiology, marked by boundless possibilities. KCR 2025 will be a milestone where we, as a global radiology community, reaffirm our commitment to progress and resilience in the face of adversity.
I look forward to welcoming each of you to this landmark event and joining together in our collective pursuit of excellence. Let us celebrate our past, embrace the present, and shape the future of radiology.
Warm regards,
